Shannon Mackey is a private sector accounting consultant and the backbone of Everything QuickBooks. She comes from a long career in banking management where she worked from a teller position to branch manager while consistently surpassing her assigned goals and maintaining the highest customer service rankings. Shannon completed her Bachelors’ of Science with a Major in Accounting and a Minor in Finance at the University of Toledo while working full time as the bank branch manager. While working towards her CPA, she decided that she preferred consulting on the accounting and operational process level rather than getting involved in common bookkeeping or the tax rat race. Instead of continuing to work toward her CPA license, Shannon turned her attention to QuickBooks where she earned and maintains Intuit’s highest level of certification as an Advanced ProAdvisor in QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks Online. She is also certified in QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS), and the Enterprise Solutions platforms. In addition to her Intuit and QuickBooks certifications, she is also highly skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite of products and is working toward her Certified Fraud Examiner certification. Shannon specializes in finding and fixing accounting errors, job cost accounting, inventory management, performing upgrades, advanced training, troubleshooting, platform design, customization, fraud detection, and file clean-up.
